Andrew is an avid life-long reader who thrives on reading, writing, and improving the written word. He has a passion for helping others and a passion for the English language, second only to his passion for God and his word. He has contributed to and run several blogs of personal, literary, and inspirational natures, and he is always engaged in reading and writing projects of his own.
Andrew recently graduated magna cum laude from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has a bachelor’s degree in both English and Philosophy. He has extensive experience with academic citation styles, including MLA, APA, and Chicago, and his writing has won him several awards from GVSU’s departments of English, writing, and classics. Andrew’s skills in writing and close reading, along with his attention to detail, earned him a reputation in the philosophy department as a clear, talented, and insightful writer.
Andrew is now putting his editorial and proofreading skills to work as a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader. He was inspired to use his abilities to help others by his time as a research consultant with the university libraries at GVSU. Highly experienced in research and academic writing, Andrew is looking to expand his expertise and help his fellow believers more clearly communicate what God has put on their hearts to share. He offers services in proofreading and copyediting, and occasionally writing. He is based in Rockford, Michigan, where he lives with his lovely wife.
