Sharon has worked in the Christian publishing industry for more than twenty years. She worked in the production, editorial, marketing and sales areas of Zondervan, as well as in the sales area of Abingdon Press.
She has worked on various projects, including marketing various Bible translations, such as the New International Version, The Amplified Bible, the King James Version, and the Contemporary English Bible. She used her editorial and writing skills in launching various gift titles through Zondervan, as well as in proofreading various Bible titles, such as the new Zondervan NIV Study Bible, the NIV Bible for Women, and various devotional titles.
Sharon’s special skills include being able to see the big picture while still paying meticulous attention to detail. She understands every aspect of the publishing process, including manuscript consideration, working with authors to fine-tune their works, choosing cover art, copy and content editing, and print production.
Sharon lives in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading, walking her dog, and enjoying her home in the woods with her husband, Steve.
