Book Interior Designer/Typesetter/Compositor
Beth has worked in book publishing for over eighteen years, including ten years at Zondervan. She also has a background in advertising, periodicals, and printing.
Beth is passionate about designing great book interiors that enhance the author’s message and connect with the readers. Her goal is to meet the needs of her clients on time and on budget. She enjoys working on diverse topics, appreciates the delicate balance between content and design, loves to tame challenging book interiors, and works to create masterpieces of design and production.
Beth’s projects have covered the spectrum, including complex, 4-color books; recipe books; simple text content; trade books; and study guides/workbooks. She is known for her typographic design, creative solutions, diligent attention to detail, and time management. She is also skilled in image adjustment and is an organized, proactive, and independent problem-solver.
Beth’s software proficiencies include Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat); MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); and experience with RSuite.
A lifelong resident of Michigan, Beth loves to spend time with family, traveling, rock collecting, DIY projects, and walking her dog, Daisy.
