Betsy St. Amant

Betsy St. Amant loves writing, reading, and anything covered in chocolate. A multipublished author of fourteen contemporary fiction novels and novellas, Betsy has been published with Barbour Books, Harlequin, and HarperCollins. She is represented by the Steve Laube Agency and is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers, for whom she also works as a list hostess. Betsy freelances for her local newspaper, The Forum, and regularly contributes content to the popular women's site iBelieve. Betsy currently resides in north Louisiana with her adorable, storytelling young daughter, a collection of Austen novels, and an impressive stash of Pickle Pringles.
Betsy has a B.A. in Communications and enjoys inspirational speaking and teaching on the craft of writing, which she does annually at the North Louisiana chapter of the Romance Writers of America (RWA) conference. She also has taught summer creative writing courses for teenagers and has critiqued fiction novels for pre-published authors and enjoyed watching them go on to win awards with their material.
When Betsy’s not composing her next book or trying to figure out where Mr. Darcy went, she can usually be found somewhere in the vicinity of a white-chocolate mocha or singing along with her daughter to the latest Disney movie soundtrack.
