Fran Lowe

Writer

Transcriber

Fran Lowe has operated a versatile freelance business out of her home for more than twenty years. She has worked with published material in a wide variety of genres, from a magazine devoted to chile pepper recipes to a Christian fantasy fiction alternative for the Harry Potter series. Yet her most favorite projects involve transcribing sermons for such notable preachers as Dr. Ralph Douglas West of Church Without Walls in Houston and Dr. Joel Gregory, professor of preaching at George W. Truett Theological Seminary in Waco. She has also compiled various books from transcription material, including Pas the Day Devotional Calendar by “Pas” West and From Glory to Glory: The 150-year History of Shady Grove Baptist Church, by Dr. Reginald Woullard, Sr.

As a Christian writer, Fran also enjoys creating cutting-edge skits for the church and is thrilled to share them with believers everywhere for the purposes of edification and evangelism. Her ebook, The True Light Zone: Christian Skits from the Spiritual Dimension, is a Fruitbearer Publishing product available on Amazon, Goodreads, and other Kindle outlets.

Currently living in Fort Worth, Texas, where she has resided for thirty-four years, Fran is an active member of her church, where she teaches Sunday school and sings in the choir. Her hobbies include reading, jigsaw puzzles, and traveling.

Fran holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Houston Baptist University. In addition, she attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth for two years.
