I believe that you meet and learn from a lot of different people, books, conferences, etc. along this journey. Some you will learn a lot from, some a little. A lot of it is about finding a good fit. Not everyone will "get" your message, and that's okay. But you will get the most from someone who understand what you are trying to communicate, who will help you develop your unique voice.
A California native who’s spent significant time in the Midwest, I have over 15 years of experience in business, marketing, and publishing. Over this time, I have held the titles of marketing director, managing editor, graphic designer, and director of communication. I’m a member of the Christian PEN professional editors association.
My skills include complex project management, writing and editing, marketing, and graphic design. I am an agented author of ten books, having ghost-written nonfiction and written novels, curriculum, and award-winning articles and short stories.
My clients include Our Daily Bread Ministries, Credo Communications, Zondervan, HarperCollins Christian Publishing, Barbour Publishing, and Concordia. I have degrees in Business Administration, History, and Comparative Literature from the University of California (Riverside and Irvine).
