Sarah Clark

Proofreading, Copy Writing,
Project Management

Sarah Clark is a freelance writer and editor with experience in both books and magazines. She grew up in Bolivia and Brazil as a missionary kid before returning to the United States for college. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2011 after serving for two years as the managing editor of an award-winning undergraduate publication, The Dartmouth Apologia: A Journal of Christian Thought. The Apologia served as the spearhead for the creation of campus journals across the country under the umbrella of the Augustine Collective.

After graduation, Sarah was the founding managing editor of Fare Forward: A Christian Review of Ideas (www.farefwd.com), a quarterly publication that ran from 2012 to 2015.


She also worked for three years as the managing editor of a city magazine in Knoxville, Tennessee, before joining the Nonfiction Trade Team at HarperCollins Christian Publishers in Nashville, TN. There, she served as editorial coordinator and worked closely with both editors and freelancers to ensure the completion of projects.


Sarah is currently manning the helm at Murfreesboro Magazine as Community Editor and lives in Murfreesboro, TN, with her husband and menagerie of pets. Her freelancing currently focuses on proofreading, copy writing, and project management.
