Ed Curtis
Editor--Fiction, Non-Fiction
History Consultant Design & Typesetting
Ed has invested twenty-one years in publishing, six in Christian publishing with Word Publishing and fifteen in the general trade world with Rutledge Hill Press and Cumberland House Publishing. His specialties include history, historical fiction, biography, true crime, political science, and current events.
At Cumberland House, Ed's work included designing and typesetting his books in addition to editing them. Thus he is as skilled with Quark XPress, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat as he is with Microsoft Word.
Ed majored in history and religion (with an English minor) at Palm Beach Atlantic College, received his master's from Baylor University, pursued postgraduate work at Harvard Divinity School (until he realized how much this was costing him!), and began coursework for a PhD at Baylor before choosing a publishing vocation.
